Getting handbag inspiration from left to right, and I just needed to streamline and prioritize my wish list. My real list is definitely much longer than this, but narrowing it down to what I’d like to get in the second half of 2021 is like being more realistic with actually buying one of these items. Here are my thoughts and hesitation points (or is that my brain talking me out and saying I need to save up for something bigger) around each item ✨

  1. LV Multi Pochette My reasoning behind this handbag is that I missed out on the whole pochette accessories game 😩. I don’t own any of the pochette styles and it’s practically impossible to get one now. With this purchase, and how versatile the bag looks to be, I can fulfill both the need for a new handbag, as well as finally get my hands on the most desired LV item. I’m absolutely in love with the chain on this bag. It’s giving me those Chanel vibes 😍…. What I’m hesitant about is whether it is easy to get things in and out of the bag. Would I be constantly trying to find my items and trying to remember which pochette they are in? While I’d like to think of myself as an organized person, I’m not when it comes to organizing my bags. All of the bags in my collection have only one pocket so while everything is just thrown in and I blindly search for items, I don’t know how I’d like a more organized bag with many “pockets”….

  2. Dior Book Tote It’s a TOTE! I love totes…do I need another reason? Hehe. 😉 I love the design..actually, all of the book designs so choosing the best one for me is hard enough. While I’m absolutely IN LOVE, I do have quite a few hesitations as to why I’m holding off buying it. For one, the material - fabric material that it is, is just meant to get dirty quickly. How easy is it to wash off those dirt marks?? It will also get fabric snags. I’ve seen a few bloggers talk about this issue and for the price of this bag, I’m just not sure if I want to get in to get my heartbroken by all the snags it will develop over time. I don’t baby my bags, that’s why I only buy leather and canvas bags that are easy to take care of. Secondly, I don’t reach for my tote bags as much anymore now that we’re always working remotely until the indefinite future. I just don’t see myself reaching for the tote when I do my errands. Going mall shopping is also not a tote-friendly activity so how much of the use this bag will get for it to be a worthy purchase? 🤔

  3. Prada Re-edition 2000 Okay, I really am confused about my feelings towards this handbag. I love the 90s vibes it gives me. I like this powder pink colour over the other options. I like how carefree this bag is, how light it is. It fits those two so much important to me categories BUT it does not fit perfectly on my shoulder. I’ve tried it on a few times and am always so disappointed with how it sits on my shoulder. I could just carry it by the handle on my arm but from my experience with my Celine Micro Belt bag, I don’t find that to be the most comfortable wear for a day-to-day bag.

  4. Chanel 19 Card Holder I love my classic Chanel cardholder in caviar leather. It is black so I do want a lighter coloured version for the spring-summer season. I don’t love getting the same item in different colours, hence why I picked this slightly different version of the cardholder. Now the biggest issue with this item is its availability. Like all things Chanel, this is hard to find and I’m not sure if I’m interested in chasing down a cardholder 💁‍♀️

  5. Dior Saddle Card Holder This cardholder is on this list because 1) If I can’t have the tote, at least I can get the print I like in an SLG version. 2) It is the same structure as my Chanel cardholder and for me, having an SLG that is durable and well structured (or the structure that I like), are very important. I need something that can easily hold multiple cards, bills and receipts. Since I’ve found my perfect shape with the Chanel cardholder, I’m now in search of finding this design in other designer houses. What is stopping me from getting this beauty is somewhat of the same reasons as the Dior book tote - the probability of snags and maintenance.

  6. LV Zippy Wallet I used to own this wallet in the Epi Leather version and I loved it. I can’t remember how long I’d used it before giving it away to my mom, who now enjoys it as much as I once did. The reason I had retired it from my daily wear was due to the fact that I wanted something else - and I replaced it with another long style wallet that LV has discontinued from its line. Unfortunately due to the weight of that wallet, I had grown to dislike having long style wallets and moved to cardholders and compact wallets instead. I definitely miss having a long wallet in my wardrobe and since I really liked the style of the zippy, I thought I’d include it on my wish list in a different material this time around. My only concern here is that because I haven’t had a big wallet (or should I say a normal sized wallet 😂) in a while, would I like it? Would I like it as I did before?
